Dans le cadre de la particularité de ce projet, plus de la moitié de la somme obtenue pour cette oeuvre sera reversée à une association défendant la cause des violences que subissent les femmes, et une autre partie à l’organisatrice de l’exposition concernée, pour l’aider à développer sa revue culturelle, Rashomon Magasine
This painting is pretty special, made for an exhibition aiming to depict the impact of sexual assault and sexism on women's life. This exhibition, occurred in Lille in October 2023, gathering some beautiful artists, activists, photographers, poets, amazing women, to invite the spectator to understand and feel for a brief moment the emotions felt when you live with such a burden. It's awful. And tears my heart apart that it is still happening.
I'm safe to say that I've never been a victim. But, my hypersensitivity and creativity always invited me to collect my own emotions, and the one of others, to feel them, understand them, depict them, and hopefully change them. So it's an honor for me to bring anything I can to those women.
I, and my art, will always be there for you.
